The Amsterdam Transport Authority is making a strong commitment to the transition to emission-free public transport. Over 700 diesel buses are being replaced by electric buses, and the associated charging infrastructure is being installed. This requires two worlds to be brought together: the world of transport and the world of electricity. VINU has developed the Transition Programme for the Transport Region, with the vision and strategy to achieve the objectives, and the approach to involve all relevant partners. VINU is also project manager for the implementation of various components, such as the charging infrastructure.
